NOW36-B split keypad prepaid water meter is composed of a multi-jet prepaid water meter and a separate customer interface unit (CIU), connected by RF wireless communication module. When the meter is kept away from customer reach in locked boxes or houses, the CIU can be installed inside the customer house for keypad STS TOKEN recharge and information viewing. Widely used for prepaid cold water metering and management of residential and commercial consumers.

Split Structure

  • Multi-jet prepaid water meter + separate customer interface unit (CIU)
  • CIU connected to the meter by RF wireless communication module
  • CIU installed inside customer house while the meter is kept in locked boxes or houses
  • Recharge TOKEN and check information by keypad of both meter and CIU

Recharge Solutions

  • Keypad: input 20-digit STS TOKEN through the keypad
  • Vending Software: recharge via Novizexpay vending software, integrated to local Mobile Money Payment Platform via API (M-PESA, Alipay, MTN, Airtel, etc.)
  • Mobile Payment: recharge via third party platform or local mobile payment with API
  • AMI System: remote recharge via DCU and LORA-RF or Bluetooth 4.0 module

  • Multi-jet metering, automatic valve control (built-in solenoid valve)
  • Low credit alarm: alarm value settable by inputting corresponding TOKEN
  • Step tariff: settable by inputting TOKEN, up to 3 step prices
  • Overdraft collection: water overdraft collected day by day or month by month
  • Information inquiry: check credit remain, total purchased and total credit by short code
  • Non-return valve: inside for preventing back-flow

Anti-Tamper

  • Meter will automatically close the valve after detection of magnetic field and open cover event
  • Works normally after inputting clear tamper TOKEN

Communication

  • LORA-RF / Bluetooth 4.0 optional, AMI system supported on request
